Nothing sadder than an empty dog beach

"Where is everybody?"

Going to the dog beach early is hit or miss. Sometimes you get the dogs with deep anger management issues whose owners are trying to avoid all people and dogs. And sometimes you get the high energy runners and playful wrasslers. Goose, the chubby Aussie, and Lincoln, the bad boy blue-eyed Husky are some of our favorites.

And sometimes, you are the only dog there. Not interested in playing ball with us or sniffing seaweed by herself, Emma will plant herself at the bottom of the stairs and look up hopefully, waiting for friends to arrive.
